What we collect

When you use Status HQ, we process the photos and videos you choose to upload so we can create Status-ready files. We may also process technical details needed to run the service (for example job IDs, file size, and device/app version for crash or delivery diagnostics).

How we use media

Media is used only to encode and deliver Status-ready parts to you (via the in-app share flows or the WhatsApp bot you message with a one-time code).
We do not sell your media or personal data.
We do not use your media for advertising or to train AI models.

Retention

Processed files are deleted after delivery, or automatically after a short unused period. One-time bot codes expire and are single-use. We do not keep a permanent library of your uploads.

If you use “Get on WhatsApp,” you send a code to our bot on WhatsApp. Message delivery uses Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API and is also subject to Meta’s and WhatsApp’s privacy terms. Status HQ is independent and not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.
